Importance of organism and transcriptomesSeveral species of chlorarachniophyte have unique life cycles. This strain possesses two cell types (coccoid and flagellate cells) in its life cycle, and these cells can be separated under different culture conditions. The transcriptome gave us a clue to know control mechanisms of the life cycle.
