Importance of organism and transcriptomes | T. nitzschioides is a characteristic diatom species of phytoplankton communities of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current and its frustules are also abundant in the siliceous ooze belt. This transcriptome is part of a comparative study of the transcriptomic responses of Southern Ocean diatoms to iron limitation. |
