Importance of organism and transcriptomesMarine diatoms are very important primer producers in the ocean and Thalassiosira weissflogii is a model coastal diatom whose physiology and ecology has been intensively studied for decades. Transcriptomic data will allow us to understand how diatoms respond to changes in pCO2 and pH caused by ocean acidification.
