Importance of organism and transcriptomesThis second set of 15 sample submissions includes mixotrophic protists and related heterotrophs from a wide diversity of taxa. We hope looking at these transcriptomes will shed light on evolutionary and ecological adaptation of single celled eukaryotes. While Phaeocystis is not known to be mixotrophic it is related to other mixotrophic organisms.
