Importance of organism and transcriptomesMicromonas sp. CCMP2099 is an abundant, pan-arctic picoplankton endemic to the Arctic Ocean. This transcriptome is from a culture grown first grown at elevated temperature (12.5C) for three days, then moved to normal temperature (8.5C) for a day before harvest.
